Potato cake in a pan

Pan-fried potato cake fast recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 kg Potatoes
  • 80 g Parmesan cheese
  • 20 g Flour
  • 1 bunch Parsley
  • 1 bunch pennyroyal
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil

Preparation

  1. Wash and peel the potatoes, cut them in very thin julienne with the special tool or the mincer and transfer them in a bowl. Alternatively you can also grate them.

    Add the grated cheese, chopped parsley, chopped mint, salt, pepper and flour. Mix all the ingredients well with a fork.

    In a non-stick pan of about 22 cm, pour the olive oil, add the mixture with the potatoes and with wet hands level it to form a uniform layer.

  4. Transfer the pan to the heat and cook the potato cake for 15 minutes without a lid. Turn the potato cake by sliding it on a plate. Put the cake back in the pan and cook the other side for 15 minutes and without the lid.

  5. Slide the potato cake in a pan on a serving dish and serve hot.
